美洲杯失利 梅西“退出”国家队

北京时间6月27日上午，阿根廷在美洲杯百年纪念赛决赛中点球负于智利，与冠军失之交臂。这是阿根廷连续输掉的三届重大赛事决赛，赛后梅西宣布退出阿根廷国家队。

Lionel Messi has said that he is to retire from international soccer after Argentina were beaten 4-2 by Chile in a penalty shootout in the Copa America final on Sunday, the fourth final the Barcelona striker has lost with the national side.

当地时间周日美洲杯决赛的点球大战中，阿根廷2比4负于智利，赛后，梅西表示要从国家队的国际比赛中退出。此次告负是梅西在国家队决赛中第四次失利。

我们来看看梅西赛后接受采访时说了些什么：

"It's tough, it's not the time for analysis. In the dressing room I thought that this is the end for me with the national team, it's not for me."

太难受了，现在不是分析的时候。在更衣室的时候，我想该是离开国家队的时候了，这里不适合我。

"That's the way I feel right now, it's a huge sadness once again and I missed the penalty that was so important."

这就是我现在的感受，这对我来说是巨大的悲哀，我错失了那么重要的一个点球。

"I tried so hard to be champion with Argentina. But it didn't happen. I couldn't do it."

我那么努力想要为阿根廷赢得一个冠军，但是并没有实现。我做不到。

"The national team is over for me. It's been four finals. It's not meant for me. I tried. It was the thing I wanted the most, but I couldn't get it, so I think it's over."

我的国家队生涯结束了。已经四场决赛失利了。我注定赢不了。我努力了。为阿根廷夺冠是我最想做的事情，可是我没能做到，所以，我觉得该离开了。

英文中，“退出、离开”可以用quit或者retire from表示，此前，贝克汉姆宣布退役也用retire from football表示。

另外，从梅西的讲话中，我们也可以学到一些其他口语化的表达，比如：this is the end for me with the national team以及the national team is over for me。

上周，梅西刚刚超过巴蒂斯图塔称为阿根廷进球最多的球员（highest goalscorer）。他被公认为同时代球员中最出色的一位，得过5次国际足联金球奖 （five-time FIFA Player of the Year）, 赢得过四次欧洲冠军联赛（winner of four Champions League titles），在巴萨赢得过8次西班牙甲级联赛冠军（eight Spanish La Liga crowns with Barcelona）。
